Law school is a very stressful experience which can challenge you at many levels of your life. The rigors of handling your studies, continuing to be an active parent or partner in a family, and maintaining a full-time or part-time job are very demanding. We at Thomas Jefferson recognize these difficulties and would like to help you in managing potential or actual problems so that you can work through it and succeed to the utmost of your abilities.

Thomas Jefferson provides personal counseling services to help you in coping with the difficulties you might face. Our counselor, David Christopher, is available to assist you with various issues that may affect your performance in law school or with problems you are having in managing your hectic load of classes and your study time.

David Christopher is a highly experienced counselor who can arrange to set up an appointment with you at your convenience. Your treatment is kept highly confidential* and can be provided either at the private office or on campus. Those who wish to persue long-term therapy after their third session will have the option of continuing at their own expense or receive a referral to another provider.

We hope you will take advantage of this service and that it will enhance your experience at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

* The subject and content of your discussion with your counselor will be held in strict confidence. Your name will be provided to the director of student services to verify enrollment. However, no record of your appointment will be kept by TJSL.
